" The Democratic Republic of Congo Birding Association " was formally constituted on March 3rd 1998 by Tommy Pedersen, with valuable help from Marc Languy and Greg Davies.
The goal for this organization is to be a medium for people interested in the Congolese avifauna, and will publish the newsletter "Afropavo." Newsletters will be issued whenever enough material have been collected.
